How does the pickup work?
Book online, select your pickup date and we arrive at your door with a Silv's laundry bag. You don't need to be home — leave the bag on your doorstep or in a safe spot and we collect it. We message you when we're on our way.
What does thermal cleaning mean, and does it apply to my clothes?
It applies to towels, sheets, bathmats and other linen, not everyday clothing. Those items are washed at 65°C or above for a minimum of 12 minutes with an industrial sanitation treatment plus a backup process that kills 99% of pathogens — the standard required by AS/NZS 4146. Your everyday clothes are washed according to our fabric care guidelines instead, since 65°C would damage colour and fabric on most garments — most home machines and laundromats wash everyday clothes at 30–40°C too, for the same reason.
How long does it take?
Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours from pickup to delivery. For regular clients we can often do same-day or next-morning return depending on your suburb and booking time.
Can I add ironing to my laundry pickup?
Yes — select Laundry + Ironing when you book. Shirts, trousers, linen and bedding returned pressed and hanging. No extra pickup needed.
Do you do regular weekly or fortnightly pickups?
Yes — it's our most popular option. Set up a recurring schedule and we handle the rest — same day each week or fortnight, no need to rebook each time.

What's your guarantee if something's not right?
If a wash, dry or fold wasn't completed to our published standard, tell us within 48 hours with photos of the issue and we'll rewash or re-fold that load at no charge. Still not right? We'll refund that item in full. Checklist-based, same standard on our terms page.
